Shanghai’s GDP is comparable to a developed country but rural Guizhou is at eye-level with Ghana. Interesting right?
The gap is inevitable given the geographical locations of the two cities. Shanghai is a coastal economic zone while Guizhou is a southwestern province with limited access to trade and foreign investment. It takes more than injecting money to alleviate the problem but I think things are looking bright.
